Gossip: Alex Rodriguez
Alex Rodriguez's wife Cynthia has filed for divorce amid rumors of an affair between her husband and Madonna.
Alex Rodriguez’s wife filed for divorce this week, saying that the New York Yankees superstar cheated on her numerous times. Cynthia Rodriguez said her husband of more than five years “emotionally abandoned” her and her children, leaving her “no choice but divorce him.” She is seeking custody of their two children and their $12 million Florida home. In recent weeks, Rodriguez has been paying frequent nighttime visits to the Manhattan apartment of Madonna, said Us Weekly, but the singer denies that the two are romantically involved or that she is planning to leave her husband, British filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
