Tip of the week ...
spring-clean your sinuses
Take cover. Save yourself from allergy season by encasing your mattresses, box springs, and pillows in “allergen-proof covers.”
Keep your house hydrated. The humidity level in your home should always stay under “50 percent.” Use a dehumidifier or air conditioner to maintain it.
Suck it up by vacuuming once a week. “High-efficiency particulate (HEPA)” filters are best at “trapping particles” and picking up dust, dust mites, and pet dander.

Turn on the heat when it’s time to do laundry. Wash all your drapery, throw rugs, bedding, and clothing in “very hot (140 degrees Fahrenheit or higher)” water. If you’re concerned about the extreme temperatures, “add an extra rinse cycle” instead.
If the sneezing doesn’t stop, try a quality “portable or whole-house air cleaner,” which helps remove “fine particles like dust mite droppings and pet dander from the air.”
