Tip of the week ...
how to touch up makeup
Pack light. When you know you’ll be on the run, keep “well-edited essentials in a makeup bag.” You need to include only concealer, blush, translucent powder, a creamy eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick.
Take cover. The ideal concealer for touching up is a “creamy, light-reflecting formula.” Use it to cover up blemishes and dark circles. Follow with powder, but apply sparingly so you don’t end up with a “cakey look.”
Open wide. Use a cream-based eyeliner, “which glides on and deposits” lasting color. When reapplying mascara, moisten your lashes with your fingers to “soften the dried product.”

Brighten up with hints of color. A “sheer, moisturizing lipstick lets you reapply all day.” Cream blush adds color to the apples of your cheeks and doesn’t require you to carry a brush.
