Good Day, Bad Day
Driving by touch, minding your beeswax
GOOD DAY FOR: Driving by touch, after Shell gas stations in Chicago started allowing customers to pay by scanning their fingerprints. BAD DAY FOR: Minding your beeswax, as Clorox agreed to buy earth-friendly health and beauty product company Burt’s Bees for $925 million. “The Clorox name doesn’t tend to make one think of nature-friendly products,” said Sanford C. Bernstein analyst Ali Dibadj. “This acquisition can help.” (Bloomberg)
