Baghdad
U.S. soldiers videotaped themselves kicking a bound Iraqi prisoner and making the corpse of another wave hello, the Palm Beach, Fla., Post reported this week. The soldiers, from the Florida National Guard, edited the tapes into a DVD, with scenes titled “Those Crafty Little Bastards” and “Another Day, Another Mission, Another Scumbag.” One scene shows a soldier pointing a gun at a moaning, injured Iraqi. The soldier says, “This f----- shot at me,” and then kicks him. Another scene shows a soldier flapping a dead Iraqi’s arm. The Pentagon said it had investigated the incidents and determined the behavior was “inappropriate but not criminal.”
