Pope John Paul II gave Catholics yet another saint this week when he canonized Padre Pio, a Capuchin friar who died in 1968. The friar was famous for bleeding profusely out of stigmata on his hands, feet, and side. He is said to have lost up to a cup of blood a day without ever becoming anemic or faint. The current pope has canonized 457 people
