2. Bosch MC812S734G 3.9 Litre Food Processor
This 1,200W food processor has seven attachments in a handy bag for chopping and blending, whisking and juicing. With incredibly sharp steel blades, it’s great for slicing veg and grating cheese. It has five speeds, and a large 3.9-litre bowl.
3. Kenwood FDP22.130GY MultiPro Go
Kenwood’s smallest food processor – it has just one blade, a slicer and a grater – punches above its weight. At 650W, it has only one speed, but is streamlined and quick, and the 1.3-litre bowl is good for small families.

4. Ninja 3-in-1
Incredibly versatile, this is a processor with two good blenders. The 1.8-litre processor is powerful (and loud), thanks to the 1,200W motor. There are five modes and eight attachments, but it is rather bulky.
5. Magimix 4200XL
This quick, sturdy 590W machine has a 3-litre bowl and can slice, chop, grate, beat and knead. It has nine attachments, including a BlenderMix for liquidising, and a mini processor.
