Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder: 250,000 fans vote to see mega-fight
AJ’s Twitter poll reveals that Wilder is the top choice for his next opponent ahead of Fury and Whyte
After knocking out Alexander Povetkin on Saturday, world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua used the power of social media to ask boxing fans who they would like to see him fight next.
With his Russian rival now out of the way, the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO title holder has Wembley Stadium booked again for 13 April next year, but an opponent has yet to be decided.
American Deontay Wilder, the WBC champion, is set to fight Britain’s Tyson Fury in December and the winner of that bout could face Joshua at Wembley. However, another British fighter, Dillian Whyte, has also been mentioned as a possible opponent for Joshua.
