1. Rihanna literally does it all on the cover of Vogue Italia's DIY issue

Rihanna didn't need any help looking glamorous on the cover of Vogue Italia. The singer and businesswoman served as the model, stylist, director, photographer, and of course, the muse for the photoshoot. Naturally, she donned her own makeup and clothing lines, Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty. The "Do It Yourself" issue said it best with the coverline: "Rihanna by Rihanna." Vogue Italia wrote that in doing it herself, Rihanna was "experimenting on the fine line that exists between the two sides of an artist." The issue hits newsstands June 4, when Rihanna will become the reader, too, and presumably purchase the magazine using self-checkout.

2. Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are BFF-goals at surprise birthday party thrown by SJP

It's Gemini season, and best friends, Geminis, and initial twins Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are making the most of it. The pair celebrated their June 3 and June 2 birthdays together at a surprise party thrown by Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, with matching cakes gifted by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. Cohen shared a video to Instagram of the pair blowing out their candles, writing: "Gemini Twins: ACTIVATE! Happy Birthday to my friend, AC2 partner, and brilliant Daddy. Our lives are all better with you in them, Anderson." Name a more iconic duo.

3. Chris Harrison won't return to host Bachelor in Paradise

Chris Harrison isn't coming back to Bachelor Nation — not yet, at least. The longtime host of The Bachelor won't host the next season of Bachelor in Paradise after previously announcing plans to step aside from the franchise. Harrison did so following controversy over his defense of a contestant, Rachael Kirkconnell, who attended an antebellum-themed formal in 2018. He apologized for "wrongly speaking in a manner that perpetuates racism." When, or if, Harrison will return to the world of The Bachelor still isn't clear, but ABC reportedly plans to bring in a number of guest hosts for Bachelor in Paradise, including David Spade — who Page Six notes is a Bachelor "superfan."

4. Vanessa Bryant blasts Nike over apparently leaked shoe honoring Gianna

Vanessa Bryant isn't happy with Nike. The widow of Kobe Bryant posted on Instagram on Thursday demanding to know how a shoe apparently leaked after she worked on a design with Nike in honor of her late daughter, Gianna, but decided not to sell. The shoes were "NOT approved for sale" or even approved to be made, Bryant wrote. But an Instagram user who posted pictures of the shoes claimed their photos were "official product pictures from a Nike authorized retailer," alleging that Nike seemingly "sent pairs to this retailer (as well as others) with the intent of selling" them. Nike hasn't commented on the situation yet, but Bryant is calling for an explanation, writing, "I hope these shoes did not get sold."

5. Mark Strong bombed a James Bond audition after getting drunk with Daniel Craig

Mark Strong once failed to land a role as a James Bond villain — and he knows who to blame. The actor explained that he auditioned for the Bond franchise in the 1990s while Pierce Brosnan was playing 007, but the night before, he "went out for a drink" and "got pissed." The next day, he says he bombed the audition, which he struggled to get through while "severely" hungover. "I just forgot my lines, couldn't remember what they were and they all just kind of fell apart," Strong said. "I was sweating, it was a terrible experience." Ironically, Strong was out drinking with none other than Daniel Craig, who would later be cast as Bond. So, Strong declared, "I blame him!"
