1. Miley Cyrus' plane was struck by lightning
Bad weather just took a wrecking ball to Miley Cyrus' festival plans. The "Party In The U.S.A." singer revealed on Instagram she was headed to Paraguay when her plane got "caught in a major unexpected storm" and was struck by lightning. "My crew, band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing," she said. Cyrus was set to headline the second day of the Asunciónico festival in Paraguay, but she ended up having to cancel. "We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay," she wrote, adding a broken heart emoji. Cyrus also shared some pretty terrifying footage of the storm taken during the flight, as well as a photo showing the damage it caused. Wait a second … are we sure a gremlin on the wing didn't do that?
2. Britney Spears doesn't know who Pete Davidson or Scott Disick are
Sorry to these men. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Britney Spears shared a video originally from Scott Disick, in which Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson films him falling asleep while they're watching a movie. "Boyz night was wild," the original caption said. But in sharing the video, Spears pulled a Keke Palmer by revealing she has no clue who either of these people are. "Sorry had to repost this," Spears said. "No idea who these people in the video are but it made me laugh so hard !!!!" It may come as a bit of a surprise considering Davidson has been, unfortunately, in the news pretty much every day for weeks now amid the Kanye West drama, but hey, we're not judging. In fact, we're straight up jealous of the one person who remains blissfully unaware of all this, and hopefully, no one has brought her into the loop since.

3. Lily Collins went to a podiatrist every week filming 'Emily in Paris'
Some feet were harmed in the making of Emily in Paris. Lily Collins revealed on The Tonight Show that constantly wearing heels making the Netflix series took a real toll on her feet to the point that she was constantly seeing a doctor. "You wouldn't think how painful that can be in Paris," she said. "I actually literally went to a podiatrist every week to fix my feet because I was wearing heels all the time, and I had to have insoles made for every pair of shoes. I'm not kidding. I felt pretty ancient." Collins expressed interest in taking Emily all over the world, but she does have one important request for the writers: "I just want to go to streets where you can wear flats." Hey, it could be worse: she could have to run away from dinosaurs in those things.
4. Jamie Lee Curtis to officiate her daughter's wedding dressed as a 'World of Warcraft' character
Jamie Lee Curtis will be wearing a World of Warcraft costume when her daughter gets married — though an actual war could complicate things. Curtis chatted with Jimmy Kimmel about her plans to officiate her daughter's upcoming "cosplay wedding," where everyone will "dress up as something." For whatever reason, Curtis said her daughter convinced her to go as Jaina Proudmoore from World of Warcraft, a character she's clearly not super familiar with. "It's a game, I don't know," Curtis said. The Halloween star ordered her costume off Etsy, though she recently learned it may be delayed. "The costume is coming from Russia," Curtis said. "I'm hoping [the seamstress will] get it to me, I just don't know if — you know, there's a little bit of a supply chain issue going on." We'll have to see if Curtis' costume makes it, but hey, if not, wearing absolutely anything and claiming it's Laurie Strode cosplay is always an option.

5. The 'Stranger Things' kids are looking pretty old in new season 4 photos
Is Stranger Things getting dangerously close to Dear Evan Hansen territory? Netflix dropped some new photos from Stranger Things' upcoming fourth season, and the kids look quite a bit older — as in, they're pretty much full-grown adults at this point. According to Netflix, the new season is only supposed to be taking place six months after season 3, which came out nearly three full years ago. Still, some things never change, e.g. Will Byers still has an absolutely horrendous haircut. To be fair, it sounds like the show will really lean into the kids' aging, with co-creator Ross Duffer explaining, "This year, we don't have the kids. We can't do The Goonies anymore. And so, suddenly, we're leaning much harder into that horror movie territory that we love." They really do grow up so fast, though, especially when making a show that takes about a million years to make one season. We look forward to the season 4 episode where the gang heads to the beach that makes you old.
