1. Elliot Page reveals sexual relationship with 'Juno' co-star Olivia Thirlby

Elliot Page kept busy during production of "Juno" by getting busy with one of his co-stars. In his memoir "Pageboy," the actor reveals that his "Juno" co-star Olivia Thirlby was the "first woman I had a suitably consensual sexual relationship with." Thirlby played Juno's friend in the film, while Page played the title character. Page writes that he was "taken aback the moment I saw" Thirlby, who seemed "sexually open," and their chemistry "was palpable." They started "spending a lot of time together" until Thirlby told Page, "I'm really attracted to you," the memoir describes. From there, they "started sucking face" and "having sex all the time," including "in our trailers at work" and "in a tiny, private room in a restaurant," Page writes, adding that he doesn't know if his mom, whom he was sharing a two-bedroom suite with, "suspected anything." Other reveals from the book include that Page had a secret romance with Kate Mara. Talk about a page-turner.

2. Tom Holland is taking a year off because his new show 'did break me'

Spider-Man won't be swinging back into action anytime soon. Tom Holland told Extra he's taking a break from acting after the intense experience of starring in "The Crowded Room," the new Apple TV+ series. "I'm now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was," he said. The drama sees Holland play a character inspired by a real person, Billy Milligan, who was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder. The actor told Extra that making the show was a "tough time," especially because of the "extra level of pressure" he had as a producer. "The show did break me," he admitted, noting he already "disappeared" and went to Mexico to lay low and relax on the beach for a week. Get ready to meet Spider-Tan.

3. Jenna Ortega chokes up discussing social media: 'It's very manipulative'

Variety's latest Actors on Actors conversation turned into a real tear-jerker. Jenna Ortega got emotional in an interview with Elle Fanning as she discussed the "very manipulative" nature of social media. "What it does to anyone our age is it's such a comparing game," the 20-year-old said, adding that social media "influences bandwagon mentality." Ortega noted she was always told she had to have a social media presence as an actor, but after the success of "Wednesday," she became "really, really nervous" to post anything "or even be myself" because she could be misinterpreted. People "see your vulnerability and twist it in a way that you don't always expect," she said, starting to choke up. "How do you be honest without jeopardizing your own health and safety?" Ortega admitted she was nervous to even do this interview, but she'd "rather people see me cry" than "be something that I'm not." Fanning praised her for being "so open and honest," calling it "courageous."

4. Matty Healy has 'not been online' amid Taylor Swift drama

Matty Healy has not seen your tweets, but he gets the gist. During a concert, the 1975 frontman reacted to fans' signs telling him that he is "loved," suggesting this was "alluding to" online backlash against him, per a video shared on Twitter. After he started dating Taylor Swift, Healy drew the ire of her fans for a variety of controversies, including for going on a podcast that made fun of Ice Spice. Healy told fans he's "sure people have been calling me a c--t relentlessly" but that he has "not been online" and has instead "been with my boys." Healy and Swift have now broken up, though multiple reports say this wasn't because of the backlash. According to TMZ, Swift "was aware" of the controversial Ice Spice podcast before she started dating Healy, and both of them "were used to the noise, and simply blocked it out." If only her music provided further insight into her willingness to shake things off.

5. 'The Flash' may not be one of the best superhero films of all time after all

And this, kids, is why it's sometimes better to set expectations low. The reviews are in for "The Flash," the superhero film DC hyped up to the point that you'd assume Jesus Christ himself returned to star in it. It's "probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made," DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn boldly claimed. But the current 72% Rotten Tomatoes approval rating for "The Flash" means it's not even the best-reviewed superhero film of the past week. "The early word on 'The Flash' calling it one of the greatest superhero movies ever made was pure hyperbole," The Hollywood Reporter said, adding it's simply an "above-average" DC Extended Universe film. Others were unsure how to recommend the movie given the criminal allegations against its star, with Screen Rant calling it a "middling" film and saying it "was impossible not to think of [Ezra] Miller's victims while watching" it. Not even Barry Allen can outrun DC's constant PR nightmares.
