1. HORSEMEAT FOUND IN TESCO BURGERS

Horse DNA has been found in beefburgers being sold by Tesco, Aldi and Lidl following tests by Irish food safety authorities. Horsemeat made up 29% of a sample from Tesco. The burgers were made at two plants in Ireland and at the Dalepak Foods plant in Yorkshire. The BBC reports that Dalepak is holding continental suppliers responsible.
