1. CAIRO DAWN RAID TOLL HITS 51

At least 51 people are confirmed to have been shot dead this morning when Egyptian soldiers fired at protesters outside the Cairo barracks where the ousted President Morsi is thought to be held. Egypt's interim leader Adly Mansour urged calm and said he had ordered an investigation into the deaths.
