1. CAMERON DENIES EU CABINET WARNING
Downing Street has denied claims that David Cameron ordered his ministers to back his call for the UK to stay in the EU - or resign. The PM told reporters everyone in government had "signed up" to his plans to renegotiate Britain's position in Europe before the in/out referendum. A spokesman said his comments had been "over interpreted".

2. TURKEY ELECTION: ERDOGAN SNUBBED
Turkey’s prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has been snubbed by voters, with his ruling AK party not securing a parliamentary majority for the first time in 13 years, thanks to a surge in support for the pro-Kurdish HDP. Erdogan must now try to negotiate a coalition, or he will be forced to announce a re-run ballot.

Turkey election: governing party loses majority in surprise result
3. MIRREN AND CURIOUS DOG WIN IN NYC
Helen Mirren last night won the Tony award for best actress in a play for her portrayal of the Queen in The Audience. Mirren, who won an Oscar for the title role in The Queen, said: “Your Majesty, you did it again.” The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time won best play and best directing at the NYC awards.

4. ALTON TOWERS VICTIM LOSES LEG
A teenager injured in the Alton Towers rollercoaster crash last week has had her leg amputated. Leah Washington, 17, was one of four people to suffer serious injuries. She in the front row of a carriage on the Smiler rollercoaster when it collided with another cart. The theme park has reopened, but the ride remains closed.
5. SOL CAMPBELL RUNS FOR MAYOR OF LONDON
Former England footballer Sol Campbell is in the running to become the Conservative candidate for Mayor of London. Campbell, who played for both Spurs and Arsenal and won 73 England caps during his career, retired in 2012. He will appear at a hustings with the rest of the Conservative party's candidates on 4 July. The election is next year.

6. FIFA FILM TAKES $607 ON OPENING WEEKEND
A Fifa-funded feature film starring Tim Roth as Sepp Blatter has flopped in the US, taking just $607 in its opening weekend. Fifa is thought to have contributed $22m to the cost of the film, United Passions, which was shown at Cannes in 2014 and released in the US this week. The film has been savaged by critics with The Guardian calling it "cinematic excrement".
7. ‘DISRUPTIVE’ KATE MOSS TAKEN OFF FLIGHT
Supermodel Kate Moss was yesterday taken off an Easyjet flight after reportedly becoming “disruptive”, police say. The 41-year-old catwalk star, thought to have earned £4.6m last year, was flying from Bodrum in Turkey. Her budget flight was met by police who escorted her from the plane after it landed at Luton.

8. INMATES DRILL OUT OF HIGH SECURITY JAIL
Two murderers have escaped from a maximum security prison in upstate New York by using power tools to drill their way out. The escape has been compared to the Shawshank Redemption after the pair left clothes arranged in their beds to make it seem as if they were still sleeping there. They also left a mocking note.

9. OSCAR PISTORIUS TO LEAVE JAIL IN AUGUST
Oscar Pistorius, jailed last year for shooting dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, is set to be released from prison on 21 August. Pistorius was convicted of culpable homicide last year and sentenced to five years in jail. But he is now eligible for release under "correctional supervision" after serving a sixth of his sentence.

10. BRIEFING: REPORTS OF HER DEATH…
A BBC journalist prompted a brief global media frenzy on Tuesday when she mistakenly tweeted that the Queen had died. But what would have happened if the report had been true? The arrangements made in preparation for the Queen's death are codenamed the "Bridge," and while there is some uncertainty as to what will actually happen in the immediate aftermath, some aspects have been meticulously planned.
