1. Theresa May postpones release of Brexit trade plan
Theresa May is to postpone publication of her Brexit trade proposals. It was expected that the plans would be released ahead of the European Council meeting at the end of June. However, the Prime Minister now intends to summon senior ministers to an away day at Chequers in July to finalise the white paper and agree a way forward.
2. Emma Thompson and Kenny Dalglish knighted in Honours list
Actress Emma Thompson was made a dame and former Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish was knighted in the Queen's Birthday Honours list. Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua and Olympian Lizzy Yarnold are appointed OBEs. There was anger after Network Rail boss Mark Carne was honoured with a CBE despite heavy criticism of his track record.
3. Donald Trump in the cold at start of G7 summit
Donald Trump was "isolated" on day one of the G7 summit, reports the BBC. The US president called for Russia to be readmitted to the group of top industrialised nations after its expulsion for annexing Crimea. There was also tension over the trade tariffs he has recently imposed. There are divisions between him and the other leaders on climate change, Iran and the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

4. Meat traces found in supermarkets' vegan ready meals
The Food Standards Agency is investigating after a newspaper found traces of meat in food classified as vegan or vegetarian. The Daily Telegraph tested 10 vegan and vegetarian products at Sainsbury's and Tesco and found meat in two. Tony Lewis, head of policy at the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, said consumers would be "appalled".
5. Turkey angry as Austria closes seven mosques
Turkey has condemned Austria's move to close seven mosques as "racist". Up to 60 Turkish imams and their families also face expulsion from Austria under a government clampdown. Austria’s chancellor said the country could no longer put up with "parallel societies, political Islam and radicalisation," which he said had "no place in our country". A spokesperson for the Turkish president described the reasoning for the move as "lame".
6. Minister calls for digital IDs to end 'mob rule' online
Digital IDs should be introduced to end internet "mob rule", says the security minister. Ben Wallace told The Times that abusive behaviour such as bullying and grooming occurred on social media because offenders believed they cannot be identified. "You shouldn’t be able to hide behind anonymity as much as you can now," he said.
7. David and Victoria Beckham laugh off divorce rumours
David and Victoria Beckham have denied the widespread rumours they are divorcing. The celebrity couple describe the suggestion as "embarrassing and laughable". After reports stated bookmakers had suspended betting on the couple separating, their representatives told The Sun there was "no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news".
8. NHS to build flat-pack units to accelerate construction
The NHS is to build "flat-pack" casualty units, operating theatres, maternity wards and MRI suites, reports The Times. The government, which plans to spend a significant chunk of a £3.5bn infrastructure fund on ready-made hospitals, hopes the move will speed up construction. Ministers say that the health service does not need "bespoke" designs because off-the-shelf units can be built more quickly and cheaply.
9. Tributes pour in for 'symphony' Anthony Bourdain
Tributes have been paid to chef Anthony Bourdain, who has died at 61. "Tony was a symphony," said his friend and fellow chef Andrew Zimmer. CNN, which broadcast Bourdain's series, said: "His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller." Bourdain was found dead in his hotel room. It is believed he committed suicide.
10. Fans cheer as Game of Thrones prequel is ordered
Game of Thrones fans are celebrating after HBO ordered a prequel series from Jane Goldman and George RR Martin. The series will be set thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones and will chronicle "the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour," says HBO. Programming president, Casey Bloys, has signalled that there will be between "zero to five" spin-off projects
