1. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey might return to host the Golden Globes next year
Fresh off a Golden Globes hosting performance from Ricky Gervais that proved… well, the polite word is probably "divisive" — it sounds like the Hollywood Foreign Press is already figuring out how they can win back some goodwill with next year's ceremony. And with that goal in mind, they could hardly do better than a return performance from two of the best-loved Golden Globes hosts in history: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who hosted from 2013 to 2015, and are reportedly in "early talks" to return to the show in 2021 — because it's never too early to start thinking about which actors deserve which little golden trophies.
2. Fox announces The Masked Singer spinoff The Masked Dancer
The breakout success of the reality series The Masked Singer meant that a spinoff was probably inevitable — but ideas rarely come more literal than The Masked Dancer. The new series, produced by Ellen DeGeneres, will feature a series of mystery dancers who will compete in masks for a top prize. If the new show is a hit, we can presumably look forward to The Masked Chef, The Masked Taxidermist, and The Masked Reality Show Producers Pitching More Reality Shows Where People Can Wear Masks.

3. Timothée Chalamet will play Bob Dylan
How many movies must a Timothée make before you call him an Oscar winner? The answer, my friend, is probably just one more — because Timothée Chalamet has been tapped to play Bob Dylan in a new biopic chronicling the folk singer's rise from obscurity to fame. The film will reportedly be titled Going Electric (which might technically require a spoiler alert).
4. Reese Witherspoon borrowed a glass of champagne from Beyoncé and Jay-Z
Even celebrities get thirsty sometimes. So when Reese Witherspoon ran out of water during the Golden Globes — a show that, frankly, would be much more tolerable with champagne anyway — she just leaned over to the next table and borrowed a glass of bubbly from Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who brought their own bottles into the show. And given that the champagne in question apparently costs at least $300 per bottle, she definitely asked the right table.

5. Christian Bale is in talks to star in the next Thor movie
It's been nearly a decade since Christian Bale hung up his Batman cape, but he must be missing life as a superhero, because he's reportedly in talks for a part in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder. The specifics of the role remain a mystery — but given Bale's penchant for dramatically gaining or losing weight for his roles, there's a good chance you won't even recognize him anyway.
