Cryptocurrencies show ‘end of the world is near’

A Christian pastor has warned that digital currencies are the “mark of the beast” and a sign that the end of the world is near, the Daily Star reported. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Pastor Tom Hughes claimed that the Bible predicted that economies will become cashless at the end of days and nothing can be done to stop it. One delighted viewer commented: “I can’t even believe we are alive to witness the beast system rolling out! We are so blessed to be the final people!!!”

Nightclub closes because young people are rude

Young people are rowdy, drunken and disrespectful, according to an Italian nightclub owner who shut his venue last weekend. Writing on Facebook, Daniele Lamperti told young clubbers: “We are closing because you have really annoyed us. We are fed up with your quarrelling, with your arrogance, with your presumption, with your bad manners, your ignorance, your lack of respect for people who are working, your idea that everything is owed to you.” The Times said Lamperti was enraged by strangers who addressed him as “Dani”, “bro” or “uncle”.

Dogs can ‘see’ with their noses

US scientists said dogs might be able to use their noses to see as well as to smell. The researchers and vets at Cornell University in New York examined canine brain scans and discovered a different pathway in the minds of dogs, which links the part of the brain that deals with smell and the area of the brain that processes visuals. The Mirror said this explains how some blind dogs can play fetch even when they can’t visually see the ball.
