The world’s most appealing accents revealed

In a new study, women said the Scottish accent is the world’s most appealing (86%) to hear, while men said they found Spain’s accent the most pleasing (88%). In second place for women came Australian (72%), while for men it was Brazilian Portuguese (76%).
Daughter’s poo cures man's ‘drunkenness disease’
A man who kept feeling drunk even when he hadn’t consumed alcohol was cured when his daughter’s faeces was transplanted into his intestine. The 47-year-old man was suffering from gut fermentation, which produces excessive fungal growth in the gut and then fuels ethanol production. The faecal microbiota transplantation has cured the problem.

Taylor Swift boosts student’s Go Fund Me page
Taylor Swift has donated £23,000 to help a young London student achieve her dream of attending university. On her Go Fund Me page, Vitoria Mario is fundraising to take up her place at the University of Warwick. Alongside a donation for £23,373, the pop star wrote: “Vitoria, I came across your story online and am so inspired by your drive and dedication to turning your dreams into reality.”
