Flight diverted after wife discovers infidelity

A Qatar Airways flight was diverted after an altercation between a husband and wife on board the plane. The argument started when the woman used her sleeping husband’s finger to unlock his mobile phone, and discovered he was having an affair. The flight was diverted when the woman refused to calm down.

Avocado tree protected by razor wire

Officials in New Zealand are investigating the installation of extreme security measures around a suburban avocado tree in Auckland. The homeowner has installed loops of razor wire around the tree to deter would-be thieves, after the price of a single avocado soared to NZD$7.50 (£4) earlier this year.

Five naked people arrested following car crash

Police in Canada have revealed the arrest of five naked people, following a two-car accident in the small town of Niksu. Officials say all five of those arrested were travelling in one vehicle, and investigations into whether the crash was deliberate are ongoing.
