A New Zealand man has been jailed for more than two years after a failed attempt to steal a squirrel monkey from a Wellington zoo. John Casford climbed into the enclosure, distressing the animals, which then attacked him. He was left with a broken leg, a broken tooth and bruising on his back.

Man puts up electric fence to keep kids off his lawn

A Virginia man has erected an electric fence near a bus stop outside his house in order to stop schoolchildren from accessing his lawn. The man – identified only as Bryan by local media – said the fence was necessary because the children were littering, swearing and fighting on his property.

Clown wielding stun-gun scares children

A 17-year-old has been arrested after he allegedly dressed up as a clown, armed himself with a stun-gun and terrorised several children in a Long Island park. The teen is facing five counts of criminal possession of a weapon after police found him in his car, with the clown costume and several more stun-guns.
