A would-be burglar has been caught after his getaway vehicle became stuck in manure

A Minnesota man has been charged with burglary, after his getaway vehicle became stuck in a large manure pile on the farm where he had allegedly been stealing timber.

Matthew Bloomquist, 29, was found by police standing next to the vehicle, covered from the waist down in a “foul-smelling substance”.

A Florida family has reported that their home was shot at hours after a woman posted a bad review about their restaurant on Facebook claiming that her disabled mother had been denied service. A friend of the restaurant’s owner was later arrested.

‘Ghost ship’ reappears after nine years

A ship believed to have been lost in the Pacific Ocean has reappeared in the Indian Ocean, nine years after it went missing. The ship was last seen off the coast of Taiwan in 2009, and was found by fishermen south of Myanmar. The ship had run aground on a sandbar, and looked to have been recently abandoned.
