Police seize World War 2 tank from Russian man

Police in Russia have seized a World War 2-era T-60 tank from a man who hoarded guns and kept a fully grown crocodile as a pet. Authorities moved to confiscate the tank after Pavel Baranenko accidentally ran himself and two children over with it, while giving joyrides on a local beach for 300 rubles (£3.20).
Crack pipe vending machines appear in town
Residents in Brookhaven, Long Island were reportedly surprised when a series of makeshift vending machines appeared around their town, selling pens that can be turned into crack pipes. Authorities have confiscated the machines, and are investigating who installed them.

Man celebrates 50 years working at McDonald’s
A Massachusetts man is celebrating his 50th year of working at McDonald’s. Alfred Caproni, 73, began working in the kitchen at the restaurant in 1968, four years before the invention of the Big Mac. Caproni says he has no plans to retire any time soon, saying: “I feel like it keeps me young.”
