Man burns down house trying to kill spiders

A California man has reportedly burned down his parents’ home, after trying to kill several black widow spiders using a blowtorch. Firefighters reported that no one was injured in the fire, but there was substantial damage to the two-storey

property. Officials also warned others about the danger of using fire to get rid of household pests.
