Kangaroo kidnap attempt thwarted

A Pennsylvania woman is facing a number of charges, after she was caught trying to kidnap a kangaroo from a petting zoo. Police say 52-year-old Loren McCutcheon was caught red-handed attempting to stuff the kangaroo into her car, and had planned to take the animal back to Florida.

Collecting Lego better than buying stocks

A study by Russian academic Victoria Dobrynskaya has revealed that buying and collecting Lego has been the most successful investment strategy for the 30 years leading up to 2015. The plastic building blocks have out-performed investments in gold, stocks and even government bonds since 1985.

‘Ancient’ stone circle is 1990s replica

An “ancient” stone circle recently discovered in Scotland has been outed as a replica built in the 1990s. Archaeologists were originally “thrilled” when the circle was found on a rural property in 2018, however research into the site has been cancelled after the property owner admitted to having built the stone circle himself.
