A convenience store employee in Canada foiled an attempted robbery by striking the would-be thief with a well-aimed banana.
The suspect fled the store in Ontario empty-handed, The cashier was reportedly “a little shaken up” by the experience, but no employees or customers were injured during the incident.

Officials at Chennai Airport in India say they discovered a leopard cub inside a passenger’s luggage on a flight from Thailand. The month-old cub’s mewling tipped off customs officers, who detained a 45-year-old man for further questioning. The leopard cub is expected to survive.
