Zidane quit Real over Hazard and De Gea
According to the latest reports, Zinedine Zidane sensationally quit Champions League winners Real Madrid after a row with the club’s president Florentino Perez over its transfer targets.
According to The Sun, Zidane and Perez clashed when the Frenchman said he wanted to bring Chelsea’s Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu. Perez refused and told the coach that Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea should be the club’s top target this summer. The disagreement is thought to have ended with Zidane telling Perez: “I am done. You take care of the team.”
