The case of convicted murderer Adnan Syed will be re-examined in a new podcast, four months after it drew global attention through Sarah Koenig's Serial.
Adnan was found guilty of strangling to death his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee in a Baltimore car park 15 years ago, but has always maintained that he had nothing to do with her death.
Over 12 episodes released last year, Koenig presented evidence and interviews with witnesses that pointed to holes in the prosecution's case, but she was unable to reach any neat conclusions.

Rabia Chaudry, a lawyer and family friend of the Syeds who was interviewed by Koenig, is now broadcasting her own podcast about the case called Undisclosed: The State v. Adnan Syed.
"The remarkable success of the podcast Serial, which brought to light the many questions that remained unresolved in this case, also left many questions unanswered," says Chaudry on the new podcast's official website.
She said that, in the wake of Serial, "much new evidence and information" had been uncovered thanks to the Adnan Syed Legal Trust and lawyers Susan Simpson and Colin Miller, who independently began investigating Adnan's case after listening to the series.
Undisclosed promises to examine the case in "greater detail" from an "investigatory perspective instead of a narrative one".
The Maryland Court of Special Appeals is due to hear Adnan's appeal later this year, raising the possibility that his conviction could be overturned, and that he could face a retrial.
The Adnan Syed Legal Trust, which is sponsoring the new podcast, has been raising money to pay for his legal defence.
Chaudry has thanked Koenig and the Serial team for bringing the case "back from the dead". Despite the times when she and Koenig "didn't see eye to eye", Chaudry said: "We would be nowhere, and would have had no glimmer of hope for Adnan, without them."
The first episode will launch on Monday 13 April. Serial has also promised to release a second season, featuring a different story, later in the year.
