Keurig recalls millions of coffee machines after burn complaints

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on Tuesday announced the recall of more than 7 million Keurig coffee brewers, after 90 complaints of burn-related injuries.
The Mini Plus Brewing System apparently overheats while brewing coffee, spraying hot water and burning customers. Fortune reports that Keurig received 200 complaints about leaking hot liquid, including 90 burn-related injuries.
The recall includes brewers produced between late 2009 and July 2014, and it covers 6.6 million brewers sold in the U.S. as well as 564,000 sold in Canada. Customers can contact Keurig for free repairs to their systems.
