Sorry Star Wars fans, but Jabba the Hutt probably isn't a realistic portrayal of aliens. Neil deGrasse Tyson playfully called the idea that extraterrestrials might be fat "egocentric" in this Business Insider video.

The moral of the story: Just because humans overeat, doesn't mean aliens do, too.

"There are no fat ants. There are no fat cheetahs," the StarTalk Radio host said. "We have fat cats and dogs. Why? Because we feed them."
