Paramount blocks screenings of Team America: World Police

When Sony decided to cancel the release of The Interview, a few independent theaters came up with a clever act of protest: scheduling screenings of Team America: World Police. The comedy, which lampoons North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il, was widely released without any major controversy in 2004.
But Sony isn't the only studio backing away from any movie that might offended North Korea. Paramount, the studio behind Team America, has reportedly blocked theaters from scheduling screenings of the movie.
Of course, if you want to schedule your own screening, Team America is still widely available on DVD. Have at it.
