Majority of Americans say race relations have gotten worse under Obama

That finding comes courtesy of a Bloomberg poll released Monday. In the survey, 53 percent of Americans said race relations had worsened since President Obama took office, while about a third said they have stayed the same, and nine percent said they have improved.

Also in the survey, 60 percent said they disagreed with a New York City grand jury's decision to bring no charges against a white police officer in the chokehold death of Eric Garner. The decision, announced last week, sparked protests nationwide over police impunity and alleged racism in law enforcement.
