Beyoncé is now the most Grammy-nominated woman of all time


Beyoncé is officially the most Grammy-nominated female artist of all time, thanks to her Grammy nomination for best urban contemporary album. She had previously been tied with Dolly Parton, who has 46 nominations, but Friday's announcement brought Beyoncé to 47.
Parton has won seven Grammys; Beyonce has won 17, putting her behind Aretha Franklin at 18 and Alison Krauss at 27.
