John Boehner prefers 'expensive' ObamaCare to Medicare
Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) has no plans to enroll in Medicare after turning 65 years old this week. "I'll continue to purchase my expensive health care coverage," Boehner said Tuesday, alluding to his coverage under ObamaCare.
Lawmakers and their staffs were required to obtain coverage via ObamaCare's insurance exchanges.
Boehner's Democratic counterpart, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), trolled him one day earlier about his new social welfare eligibility.
