Four people were killed and six wounded inside of a Jerusalem synagogue Tuesday in what an Israeli police spokeswoman called a "terrorist attack."
Two suspects entered the synagogue with knives, axes, and guns, and attacked worshipers, spokeswoman Luba Samri told The Associated Press. The suspects, identified as Palestinians from east Jerusalem, were killed during a shootout with police.
Update: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his country will "respond harshly" to the attack, and blamed the violence on incitement from Hamas and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. He called the attack "the cruel murder of Jews who came to pray and were killed by despicable murderers."
