At least 24 dead after boat sinks off Turkey

The ship capsized in the Bosphorus Strait, where Bosphorus and the Black Sea meet. The boat was carrying migrants, believed to be from Afghanistan and Syria.
At least 24 bodies have been found, according to reports from the Turkish coast guard. Search crews are searching for the other passengers. Seven people were rescued, but 12 other passengers are thought to be missing.
Reports suggest that the migrants were heading for Romania, a member of the European Union. Hundreds of thousands of migrants have tried to reach the E.U. this year, and thousands have died in the attempt.
