Ferguson grand jury under investigation for misconduct

The grand jury determining whether to indict Darren Wilson — the white Ferguson police officer whose shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in August sparked massive protests against police militarization and brutality — is now being investigated for potential misconduct. The investigation stems from an incident on Twitter which indicated that one juror had discussed the case with her friend, an activity that is strictly prohibited:
The tweet was quickly deleted, but not before its use of the #Ferguson tag led to screenshots being taken by other Twitter users. Depending on the results of the investigation, the grand jury process may have to begin again.
