South Park has never shied away from attacking major targets, but this year, the Comedy Central series has aimed at one of the biggest yet: the NFL. In its upcoming premiere, South Park will tackle the controversy over the name of the Washington Redskins, which has been widely denounced as derogatory.
In this clip, Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder confronts Cartman, who has started his own company using the Redskins' name and logo. "You have no right to use our name to get attention!" complains Snyder. "Don't you see that when you call your organization 'The Washington Redskins,' it's offensive to us?" (The parallels aren't exactly subtle.)
South Park's 18th season premieres on Wednesday.
