J.J. Abrams teases fans with a Star Wars/Batman crossover video
Star Wars might take place in a galaxy far, far away — but a new video from production company Bad Robot reveals that the Dark Knight must exist somewhere in its universe:
The fan-baiting new video, which reveals that The Dark Knight trilogy's "Tumbler" is strapped to the Millennium Falcon, comes shortly after some tweets in which Batman v. Superman director Zack Snyder teased Star Wars fans by blending imagery from DC Comics superheroes and the Star Wars universe:
Of course, there's virtually no chance that we'll ever see a full-scale cinematic crossover between Batman and Star Wars — but given J.J. Abrams' fondness for making deeply-embedded references to other popular franchises, Batman fans should keep their eyes peeled when Star Wars: Episode VII hits theaters next year.
