The world's tallest dog has died

Zeus, a five-year-old Great Dane from Michigan and the world's tallest dog, has passed away.

Zeus' owner, Kevin Doorlag, told The Kalamazoo Gazette that Zeus made the Guinness World Records list in 2012 for being the tallest living dog. Zeus stood tall at 7'4" when on his hind legs, and he was 44 inches tall at the shoulder. Doorlag told the Gazette that Zeus died of old age.
