North Korea reportedly fires another short-range missile into sea
South Korean officials said today that North Korea fired a short-range missile into the sea, the latest in what have become routine — and worrisome — weapons tests by the country, reports The Associated Press.
The missile, fired on the eve of the 61st anniversary of the armistice signing that ended hostilities in the Korean War, reportedly landed in waters off North Korea's east coast. Analysts believe North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will continue to order the weapons tests unless the United States and South Korea make some kind of show toward lessening their military collaborations. South Korean and U.S. troops conduct annual summertime military drills — this year's is slated to begin in August.
