The Daily Show mocks violent campaign ads — with help from Reservoir Dogs

Sen. Joe Manchin's (D-W.Va.) memorable campaign ad where he literally shot a copy of a federal cap-and-trade energy bill was apparently successful — Manchin was elected and cap-and-trade died in Congress — so it was bound to get imitators, Jon Stewart noted on Thursday night's Daily Show. The knock-offs he showed all dealt with Republican candidates putting bullets in the Affordable Care Act, and this being The Daily Show, Stewart and his writers thought they could do the genre one better. Their effort involves Jason Jones and Reservoir Dogs. Enjoy? --Peter Weber
