Finally: Oral-B invents an internet-connected toothbrush to scold you

Since actually remembering to brush your teeth thoroughly is decidedly too low-tech for some of us, Oral-B is releasing the world's first smart toothbrush. The SmartSeries 700 transmits signals via Bluetooth to your phone and instructs users how to properly brush on an app. For $200, you're basically getting a dentist that can scold you every day — there are even pop-up alerts that warn you when you're damaging your mouth and tell you when you've brushed your teeth for long enough.

Once your digital dentist says your brushing is complete, the toothbrush delivers a summary to your phone that pinpoints the areas you missed. The brush has been in development for more than two years, reports the Daily Mail, and it's slated to go on sale in June.
