A three-alarm fire at a construction site near New York's Penn Station broke out at about 2:30 a.m., temporarily disrupting subway service on the A, C, and E lines, causing substantive structural damage to the station, and mildly injuring two of the 150 firefighters called in to fight the inferno, FDNY Chief James Leonard said. The fire is expected to delay subway traffic and Long Island Railroad trains during the morning commute. Fire officials tell WNBC-TV that they are treating the fire as "suspicious." The fire has been put out, but here's a taste of what it looked like overnight, and where things stand this morning. --Peter Weber
