France votes to extend airstrikes in Iraq

The French Parliament on Tuesday voted to continue the nation's airstrikes on the Islamic State in Iraq.

France launched its first airstrikes on ISIS in September, and by law the bombing campaign required reauthorization after four months. The vote comes on the heels of last week's deadly terror attacks, one of which was carried out by a man who pledged allegiance to ISIS in a posthumously released video.
