Investigators say that after conducting an initial analysis of the AirAsia Flight 8501 cockpit voice recordings, they did not find any evidence of foul play.
"There are no indications of terrorism," Nurcahyo Utomo of Indonesia's National Transport Safety Committee said. "There were no voices of other people apart from those of the pilots." Utomo did not share any details from the recordings, and said that a transcript had not yet been finished. Investigators said they will release a preliminary report about the crash on Jan. 28.
