Speaker Boehner invites Israeli PM Netanyahu to address Congress

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress next month about "radical Islam and Iran."
The invitation is sure to irk the White House, which is still purusing a delicate nuclear deal with Tehran; Netanyahu vehemently opposes the negotiations. Moreover, the invitation comes hours after President Obama, in his State of the Union address, warned Congress against approving sanctions on Iran while the negotiations are ongoing because doing so would "guarantee that diplomacy fails."
Boehner rebuffed that request Wednesday morning, saying in a meeting with fellow Republicans: "He expects us to stand idly by and do nothing while he cuts a bad deal with Iran. Two words: 'Hell no!'"
