"Just a bad day," explained tennis legend Roger Federer on Friday, after his upset loss to Italian Andreas Seppi in the third round of the Australian Open. Federer, 33, had won each of his 10 previous encounters with Seppi, and had made it to at least the semifinals of every Australian Open in the last 11 years. Seppi, 30, is ranked 46th, while Federer was the No. 2 seed.

"I just tried to enjoy myself and playing on the center court," Seppi said after the match. "I don't get to do this very often."
