Slain Argentine prosecutor had drafted an arrest warrant for President Kirchner

In a revelation that underscores the tension surrounding the death of Argentine prosecutor Alberto Nisman, the lead investigator in the case announced Tuesday that a 26-page document found in the deceased's apartment contained a draft of an arrest warrant for President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. The document also contained such a warrant for Héctor Timerman, Argentina's foreign minister.
Argentine news outlet Clarín — which has had its own problems with Kirchner — first reported on the documents last Sunday. But Viviana Fein, the lead investigator into Nisman's death, originally waffled on their existence before confirming Tuesday that the drafted arrest warrants were indeed found in Nisman's apartment.
Nisman was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head on January 18, the day before he was supposed to testify against the president and her regime regarding the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center. The bombing was traced back to Iran, and Nisman had been preparing to accuse Kirchner of conspiring to absolve Iranian officials of blame in exchange for trade gains.
