Dominique Strauss-Kahn on pimping charges: I was too busy 'saving the world' for sex parties

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former head of the International Monetary Fund, argued in court on Tuesday that prosecutors grossly overstated his involvement in sexual soirées.
"When you read the criminal complaint, you get the impression it was this unbridled activity," said, "but it was four times a year." Moreover, Strauss-Kahn said, he had little time for group-sex while at the helm of the IMF because he was too busy "saving the world from catastrophe."
Strauss-Kahn is on trial for allegedly procuring prostitutes for orgies. He admits to participating in the sex parties but denies the pimping allegations, claiming that he did not know the women were prostitutes.
