Indonesian officials have announced that on Sunday, Indonesia's rescue agency will end the search for the bodies of 56 victims from AirAsia Flight QZ8501.

The plane crashed into the Java Sea in December while en route from Surabaya, Indonesia, to Singapore, killing all 162 passengers. The plane's black boxes and portions of the fuselage were later recovered. Rescue teams led by the Indonesian military have recovered 106 bodies.

Officials told Reuters that the final results of the investigation into the plane's crash are due in roughly six months.
